DT Whiff of Joy ~ Willow with Birdhouse & a photoedit tip + I have been featured!!

Here comes another card with the gorgeous images from Whiff of Joy! I have masked together Willow with the birdhouse. She is feeding some birds, but they almost disappeared in the grass..! The lovely papers are from Prima, as well as the pink flowers. The turquise one is from Papirloftet. And for this dress I have also tried one of the new Distress Ink reinkers - Stormy Sky. Thank you Bente for letting me try this:))

Here is a little tip for you, which I got from my DT-friend in Magnolia - Tina. I loved the frames she had on her cards, and asked her how she did it, and she gave me this link for Photoscape. A great program to edit photos. I haven't tried out all, but it is so easy and fast to put on the frames:))

DT Whiff of Joy ~ Willow with Birdnest

Can you feel the spring? I almost can with this card:) Yesterday evening I had a wonderful time with my crafting friends. And Bente had brought with her the new Distress colours!! I was in heaven;)) Look at the beautiful colour on Willow's dress! It is coloured with the new Distress Ink reinkers - Chipped Sapphire. Papers are from My Mind's Eye and Melissa Frances. I have also ripped a page out from an old songbook. The stamps are from Whiff of Joys new kit - Birdie love.

DT Magnolia ~ Right through my heart

Her kommer endelig et DT kort fra meg:) Og dette er nå i posten på vei til Borås. Nesten alt på kortet var i DT-pakken fra Magnolia. Papirer, blomster og glasspynt. Og selvfølgelig de to stemplene jeg har maskert sammen. "Right trough my heart Tilda" og "Postbag with loveletters". Bokstavklistremerkene er fra Making Memories og halvperlene er fra Kaiser Crafts. Charmen med hjertet har jeg fått av en stempelvenn:)
Motivet er malt med Distress Ink, refillers, og kantene på papirene er sydd med symaskin. Denne gangen har jeg skiftet til svart tråd. Under bokstavene har jeg malt med Crackle Paint - Picket Fence. Det tørket, og jeg fester på bokstavene, deretter malte jeg over med Crackle Paint - Clear.
Litt mere av de nydelige blomstene og glasspynten fra Magnolia. Kanskje ser du også at jeg har påført litt Stickles - Star Dust på Tilda (vanskelig å la være;)). Du finner kortet i Magnoliabloggen også:)

Nå er det bare en dag igjen til vinterferie!

I morgen skal Hasse og Ludde til dyrlegen og det blir kastrering... Stakkars. Så jeg krysser fingrene for at alt går bra. Og i morgen kveld blir det et lite kortlagingstreff hos Audhild som jeg gleder meg til. Alltid så koselig å møtes og lage kort:)

A Spoon Full of Sugar #92 ~ Distress Ink, Stickles & Pearls

This week's challenge with a Spoon Full of Sugar is my last one... I have decided to leave the wonderful team, they have been so great to work with, and I will truely miss them. Thank you for your always support, and I know we will stay in touch:))

But I have some good news too, I asked Randi Th to be my guest designer for my last week, and she accepted!! I am so pleased that she would join us, she makes amazing cards, boxes ect!

I made a bookmark for the challenge. We have now finished three weeks with almost just reading in my class. And I too had to have a bookmark:) And here it is:

I have used this guardian angel from Whiff of Joy, she is really cute! I have some stickles on her wings, and three pearls on the bottom of the bookmark. And she is coloured with Distress Ink.

I have got many questions lately that I haven't had the time to answer, so sorry for that. But I will answer some here, so hope the ones who have asked by e-mail can read it here:

1. Where I buy the napkins I use? Answer: At Hobbyhimmelen, and some of them is bought at the bookstore called Nordli.

2. What colours I use on Tildas hair? Answer: First I colour with Antique linen, then I colour the shadows with Walnut stain. And sometimes add some Vintage photo (All Distress Ink refillers).

3. What colour I use for the pink? Answer: Aged mahogany (little), Tattered rose (the most) and Weathered wood (little).

4. To translate my blog? Answer: I had a translator there before, but it was too bad! Almost crazy!:)) But when I read foreign language's blogs, it pops up a question from Blogger/Google if I want it translated... But I try to write in English. I know my Distress Ink tutorial only is in Norwegian, and many of you find that a struggle. But maybe if I get the time I will make a new one, in English:)

5. If I have some ideas for place cards? Answer: I have only one idea:) Take a look here, and here for the tutorial.

6. If I can stamp up images and sell to you? Answer: No. That wouldn't be right. Most of my stamps are given to me by Magnolia, Stempelglede and Whiff of Joy. And they want you to buy them in the stores:)

7. If I can have a Distress Ink colouring course? Answer: There was a store close to Bergen that asked me to come and have a course in the spring. So maybe. I will let you know if or when I hear from them again:) -or you can have a look at my TUTORIAL on how to colour with Distresses (Thanks for the tip Gøril;))

Whiff of Joy ~ Two new stamp kits!! & a Birthday card from Kim Piggott

I still have no card from me to show.. But I want to show you what landed in my mailbox this weekend:) Two new stamp kits from Whiff of Joy.

The first one is named Birdie Love, and you can get it in the Whiff of Joy's shop.

This second one it a kit which you can get in the stores, not in the Whiff of Joy shop. It is called Blooming Spring. I have a busy week in front of me at work, but then I got a whole week holiday!!! And then I can really enjoy this cuties:) I know that some of the DT's have started making cards with the new stamps:) So take a look in our gallery.
But I have one amazing and very surprising card to show! My Magnolia DT-friend Kim Piggott sent me this gorgeous birthday card! I love it! Thank you so much sweetie!! To have a better look at the card, and read about the details, take a look here:)

A Spoon Full of Sugar #91 ~ Spring is in the air

So sorry for my late posting...! But here comes my "Tuesday"-card for A Spoon Full of Sugar. We are asking you to make a springcard:) I got this cute stamp from Wags and Whiskers to work with. And as usual I have coloured with Distress Ink. All papers are from Magnolia.

Magnolia ~ Ladybug Tilda

Her kommer et nytt kort med enda en av de supersøte nye stemplene til Magnolia. Ladybug Tilda. Hun er fargelagt med Distress Ink, refillers. Jeg har påført Stickles på blondekantene til Tilda, og på prikkene.
På hjertene har jeg påført Crackle accent. Papirer er fra Fancy Pants, Maja Design og Jenni Bowlin (med skrift). Konvolutten er stanset ut med Revolution maskinen min. Perleswirl og blomst er fra Prima. De andre perlene er fra KaiserCrafts.
Kantene på papirene er svertet med Distress Ink, walnut stain.

Magnolia ~ Honey Tilda

Her kommer endelig et kort fra meg:)) Fikk denne Honey Tilda'en (Magnolia) på mandag, og her er et kort med henne:) Hun er bare så SøT! For å bli enda søtere har jeg gitt henne råååsa øredobber;)

Utfordringen hos Just Magnolia denne gangen er LOVE, og jeg sender inn denne kjærlighets-bien! Hun er fargelagt med Distress Ink. Papirene er fra Maja Design og Melissa Frances.
Det er umulig å ikke bli inspirert av min DT-venn i Magnolia, Hanna! Det er iallefall jeg med dette kortet;) Jeg har punchet ut to sommerfugler og festet dem sammen med en gluedot (mini). Kantene er svertet med Distress-walnut stain, så har jeg påført Stickles (Star Dust). Punchen er fra Martha Stewart, og kjøpt på Søftelandstreffet (Hobbykroken).
Teksten Loving Wishes er stemplet oppå Crackle paint. Jeg har påført Stickles på blomstene og flere av kantene på papirene.
Borderpunchen er også fra Martha Stewart. Bladene er trykket ut med Quic Kutz.

And this beauty is sent all the way from USA!! Kathy was one of the first persons I got to know here on the blogs, and it was sooo nice of her to remember me!:) Love this card aswell! Look at the colouring!!

A Spoon Full of Sugar #90 ~ Recipe

Finally Tuesday again, and a new challenge with A Spoon Full of Sugar!! This time you have to make a card after this recipe: 1 pattern paper, I embossing, 1 button and 1 ribbon. The DT got a Whimsy stamp each to play with. Look at this cute kitties that I got:) They are coloured with Distress Ink.
Under you can see the whole tag that I have embossed. I have used Stempelglede text and swirl. It says "Happy Birthday"!

DT Whiff of Joy ~ Dressing Willow

Endelig et kort igjen!! Det er vakre Willow fra Whiff of Joy sin City Girl kolleksjon jeg har laget et kort med i dag.

Jeg var på kjempekoselig scrappetreff på Søfteland i går sammen med Audhild, Bente og Janne. Da laget jeg ikke dette kortet da, men to av papirene er kjøpt der, og den vakre blonden som jeg har sydd fast nede under scallopborden. Den blonden var et kupp, kun 10,- per meter! Og så fin den var. Jeg spanderte på meg hele tre meter:)
Willow er fargelagt med Distress Ink, og jeg har påført litt Stickles her og der. Den store blomsten og bladene er fra Prima. Og papirene som jeg altså kjøpte hos Hobbykroken (som hadde butikken sin på treffet-genialt!) er fra Fancy Pants, og heter Vintage Valentine. Papiret med prikkene er fra Jenni Bowlin. Blonden ble kjøpt av en koselig dame på treffet. Tagen bak er fra Melissa Frances, og borderpunchen er fra Fiskars.

A Spoon Full of Sugar #89 ~ Valentine

Finally Tuesday again, and a new challenge with A Spoon Full of Sugar. This week faboulous Sonja has made us a sketch, and the theme is Valentine. I made a card with this cute Tilda from Magnolia. I think the whole scene in my card looks like Tilda is on an adventure looking for her Valentine:) And she is ready to shoot!;)

The round text stamp is from Papirloftet. All papers are from Magnolia. I have used spellbinder dies -hearts and ovals. The leaves are QK. All flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Except from the Gardenia, that is from Papirloftet.
The small butterflies are from Karen Marie klip, and you can find them at Panduro. I have added Stickles (Star Dust) to the flowers and paper edges. Also some on Tilda. She is coloured with Distress Ink, refillers.
