Some inspiration from the DooHickey Club vol 2 ♥

Hi again!

Here comes two more projects I made for the DooHickey klub kit magazine vol 2. 

It might be boring for you to see another Christmas card now... Since we are all longing for Spring. I am for sure. But I havent been a good blogger lately, and now when I got some time with my computer, I had to share these project, or else I am afraid I will forget.

Firstly I have a card here where I have used several DooHickey dies from Magnolia.

The stamps are from the Nativety collection 2012.

And under you can see the 3D verson of Santa's Sledge.

How to make flowers from coffee filter using dies and Sizzix tools ♥

I made this gift box for Magnolia Doo Hickey Vol 2. And I will now show you how I made the poinsettia flowers.

I used my Big Shot from Sizzix for the cutting. And the dies are Poinsettia from Magnolia.

I make the flowers from Coffee filter paper.

I cut out several poinsettia. For the large flower I use three large poinsettia and three small ones.

For the small flower I use three small ones.

To shape the flowers I have used my Susan's Garden Tool Kit from Sizzix. 

Here I have shaped all the flowers I am going to use for my project.

For colouring the flowers I made a mix with my Distress Ink, re-inkers and Opalite golden mist. I have used Tea Dye. Scattered Straw, Antique Linen - six drops of each. Then I added 1-2 drops Opalite, to make it shimmer. This mix gives the flowers a golden look. 

Spray the colour mix on to the flowers and let it dry.

When they are dry, put them together.

Here are two finished poinsettia flowers. 

And under you see the decorated gift box.

Godt nytt år! Jeg vil starte det nye året med å vise de tre kortene mine til Ett Trykk sitt julehefte. Oppgaven min var "Romantiske lillatoner". De er alle faktisk laget i mars i fjor, så det begynner å bli en stund siden.

Her først kommer rammekortet mitt. Syns det gir en så fin effekt.

Jeg har maskert sammen to motiv ifra Magnolia.

Oppå blomstene har jeg limt på en nøkkel.

Her kommer mitt andre kort. Her har jeg maskert sammen Tilda og en juletekst fra Magnolia.

På det siste kortet har jeg brukt julestjernestempelet fra Stempelglede. Det har jeg stemplet opp flere ganger, og klippet ut, og limt oppå igjen med limputer. Dette for å gi julestjernen en 3D-effekt.

 Alle mønsterarkene er fra Maja Design og Vintage Frost Basics.

Motivene er stemplet på The Langton varmpresset akvarellpapir, og fargelagt med Distress Ink, reinkers.
