MDUC # 231 ~ Birthday { We are 5 years old! } ♥

Hi there!

I am back with a birthday card for a very special challenge.

MDUC celebrate their fifth birthday as a Challenge blog. 

That is amazing, and Debbie P, Kylie and Karen have done a wonderful job the past five years.

I have been a part of the Challenge team for over three years now, and have loved it.

But still I have taken the hard decision to step down.

So this will be my last card for the challenge..

But back to my card. I have coloured up "Write a Message Tilda" from the Lost & Found Collection 2014, with Distress Ink, re-inkers. 

The papers are from Maja Design and the Sofiero collection. The big butterfly is made with the DooHickey Butterfly die.

MDUC # 230 ~ Mid Challenge reminder ~ Butterflies ♥

Hi there! I am back with a reminder card for MDUC.

It is still not much time for blogging, my baby takes much of my time.

The theme at MDUC is BUTTERFLIES, and I have used a butterfly die from Magnolia. Each of the two butterflies are double. As I have placed them on top of each other. 

The wonderful image is from Magnolia and the new coming Zodiac collection.

This one is called Sagittarius. 

She is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

I have used some favourite DooHickeys here:

The swirls around the image are from Stempelglede and the Vintage Garden collection.

MDUC #129 ~ Mid Challenge Reminder ~ Hearts and Flowers ♥

Hi there! I am back with a card for MDUC, and this time the challenge is to make a Magnolia creation with hearts and flowers. 

I made a "Welcome to the World" card, and have added some heart and flowers. 

This stamp is from Magnolia and called Delivery from Heaven, and is from the Special Moments Collection 2013. 

I have used Distress Ink and Distress Markers colouring the image.

The text is a stamp from Stempelglede and the collection callet "En liten hilsen".

DooHickey's used: Sprawling Ferns, Castle, Heart tag, View Master, My Love Heart.

MDUC #228 ~ DooHickey's only (no images).

Hi there! I am back with a card for MDUC, and this time we want you to use DooHickeys, not Tilda and Edwin images.

I hope you like my Christmas Card. My first in 2014:)

I have used this beauiful pattern paper by Pion, and also several DooHickey's:

Sprawling Ferns, Santas Sleigh, Christmas Tree, Snowflake kit and So Wrapped Lovely.

 I have added Crackle Accents to the snowflakes and the sleigh. The tree and the sprawling ferns are cut out from Kraft paper, and added white gesso.

 The pinecones are made from a Tim Holtz die. The text "A Joyful Christmas" is from Magnolia and the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013.

MDUC #227 ~ Mid Challenge reminder ~ Summer Delights

Heisann! Her kommer mitt første kort for MDUC i år! 

Vi har forandret litt på utfordringen, og nå er det ny utfordring annen hver uke, og ikke hver uke -som tidligere. Men vi har også en utfordring gående på Facebook. Så er du på Facebook, er det bare å søke opp "Magnolia Down Under Challenges on Facebook".

Men tilbake til bloggutfordringen. Den startet forrige uke, det vil si at det er en uke igjen til å kunne delta.

Temaet er SOMMER ♥

Jeg har maskert sammen to stempler ifra Sea Breeze kolleksjonen til Magnolia. 

Chair in the sunset og Salute Tilda. 

Hele kolleksjonen er på salg hos Hjerteboden nå (nedsatt med 30%).

Motivet er fargelagt med Distress Ink, re-inkers og Markers.

På siden har jeg festet en minipose og puttet to tags inni (Tilda Tag). 

Båndene er seem binding ribbon som jeg har sprayet med en egenlaget mist.

Jeg har påført Frantage - Shabby Blue her og der på kortet.

Papirene er fra Maja Design.

Sløyfen av papir er laget med en DooHickey's die fra Magnolia, Bride bow.

Stammen til kortet er laget med en Go Kreate die, Large Frame Frilly #7.

MDUC #226 ~ Anything goes ♥

Hi! I am back with a new card for MDUC.

This week it is "Anything goes", and I have made a Christmas card inspired by my birthstone Amethyst.

♥♥♥

The images I have used are Cozy Christmas Tilda and Cozy Christmas Apple Basket.

I have masked the two images together.

I have used Distress Ink for my colouring as usual.

Dusty Concord for my purple, and Walnut Stain for the brown colour. 

The small spots are made with Liquid Pearls-Lavender.

The paper I have used is from Maja Design and the Vintage Frost Basics Collection. I have used a sheet called 1st of December. I have used both sides of the paper.

The flower berries and purple swirl are from Magnolia, and the paper swirls and lace from Kort & Godt.

The tags are Tilda Tag from Magnolia, and the leaves are Sprawling Ferns also from Magnolia. 

The stamps around the images are all from Magnolia, and are stamped with Pumice Stone.

The white flowers are from Prima.

The pinecone are made from a Tim Holtz die. I have painted the pinecone and the flowers with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence.

MDUC #222 ~Especially for Kids ♥

Det er tid for en ny utfordring hos MDUC. Og denne uken er temaet "Especially for Kids". 

Jeg har laget noen poser til julebukkene som pleier å dukke opp i romjulen:)

Motivet er fra Magnolia og heter Show the way Baby Rudolf.

Det er fargelagt med Distress Ink, re-inkers. "Snø" er laget med Fran-tage (Shabby White) og Liquid Pearls.

Teksten Merry Christmas og banneren er også stempler ifra Magnolia.

Mønsterarkene er ifra Maja Design og kolleksjonen It's Christmas time - Garlands og Christmas Market.

MDUC #220 ~Autumn Vintage ♥

Hi! I am back with a card for MDUC. This week it is lovely Ying who has chosen the theme: Autumn Vintage. Mine doesn't have the warm Autumn colours, I have been inspired by the RAIN! It is pouring down here!

This cute image from Magnolia is called London Tilda, and she is from the Little London Collection. 

I have coloured her with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

The gorgeous papers I have used are from Maja Design and the Vintage Autumn Basics collection,

No. XII and No. XXII.

I have used some dies from Tim Holtz here, the Weathered Clock and Caged Bird.

The tags are made with Magnolia die, Vintage Tag. And the leaves are from the Leaf and swirl die.

I have added Frantage-Shabby White on several places around the card. On the umbrella, raindrops and boots I have added Crackle Accents. The metal corner is painted with White Gesso and added some frantage as well. 

The flowers are from WOC and Prima. 

Behind the image I have placed some cheese cloth, and a small paper bag. 

All the paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain (I am using the Ink blending tool). You may spot some small pearl hearts in some of the corners, they are from Kort og Godt.

Also the post stamp is from Kort og Godt.

I have fasten some seem binding ribbon which I have coloured myself in the tags. 

I make a mix with distress re-ink drops and water. Here I have used the colours Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood. I spray it on the ribbon, curl it, and let it dry over night. (It is a good idea to use gloves:))

MDUC #218 ~ Christmas in October ♥

Hi there!

I am back with a Christmas card for tonights challenge at MDUC. 

This week it is all about Christmas!

I have coloured up one of the new stamps from Magnolia with Distress Ink re-inker. I don't know the name yet, but the new collection is called Winter Wonderland Collection 2013.

I have used the papers from Maja Design's latest collection "Vintage Autumn Basics".

The sentiments are from Stempelglede.
