It is time for the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge for this week! And we have the wonderful theme ~ hearts! So here is another wedding card with the gorgeous Grunge Flourish Hearts from Stempelglede. I wanted the heart to be dark brown so I stamped it with Distress Ink, walnut stain (on water colour paper). I have also stamped spots (a small stamp from the same collection) all around the paper edges. Then distressed the paper edges with Distress Ink, vintage photo. But in every corner I have also added the colour walnut stain, to get them a bit darker.
Here you can see some details:) And I have also sewed a bit. The cute butterfly is from Karen Marie Klip (Panduro). The metal flower is from Unik Hobby, and I have some blue roses from Unik Hobby (the largest) and Papirloftet. The white Gardenia flower is also from Papirloftet. As you may see, I have distressed them a bit (vintage photo) and added glitterglue and Glimmer Mist to them. Actually there is Glimmer Mist on the whole card! Yes, and there is a cute little napkin up in the corner, behind the image. To make the string on the flowers look like this, I have twisted them around my brush. The small little pearls are from KaiserCrafts.
In the left corner I have added a little detail from Tim Holtz. It is coloured with Crackle Paint (old paper), and fastened with pewter brads. And do you see the silver heart charm? It is fastened with circles also from Tim Holtz. Behind the heart you can see a lace (Kort & Godt) and some music paper (from the old songbook from school ~ which I have distressed (vintage photo) and torned). The beautiful papers which is almost hidden are all from Maja Design. These papers are a bit thick and therefor wonderful to work with, I think. In two of the corners on the image I have added some blue tulle, it is fastened with the sewing..The text "Til Brudeparet" (To the Wedding Couple) is also from the newest collection from Stempelglede, called Til Brudeparet.
