TOMIC #8 ~ Stitching - faux or real ♥

Here comes my card for TOMIC's 8th challenge,

to use stitching -faux or real.

I love to sew on my cards, and I really feel my card isn't complete before I have sewed around the paperedges.

 It is my friend Audhild's birthday tomorrow!! So I made this card to her. 

I know she thinks Scare Crow Tilda is so sweet:)

And I cross my fingers that she is busy today, and doesen't look in to my blog before tomorrow...!

And I have used a brand new DooHickey's die from Magnolia here, the flag. You buy it together with the cloud, and both from the Sweet Rainbow Collection.

The alphabet is called Typeset and is from Tim Holtz. I wonder if Magnolia will be making a "Magnolia alphabet" soon..? Anyway the good thing about the Typeset alphabet from TH, is that it has both small and capital letters on the same die. And they fit the flag perfect!:)

The letters are inked with Walnut Stain, only a little on the edges, and then I have added crackle accents to them.

I have put some Crackle Paint-Picket Fence and Stickles-Star Dust on the flags.

 The dragonfly at the bottom of the card is also a Magnolia die, from the Bon Voyage Collection. I have made two and put them on top of eachother. Then a little ink, stickles and Liquid pearls:) (My favourite recipe!)

 The swirls around the image and the Carte Postale stamp is from Stempelglede.
