MDUC #76 ~ Red, Brown and Cream

Here is my card for MDUC#76, which is to make a card using the colours red, brown and cream. I coloured Gingerbread Tilda from Magnolia with Distress Ink. She is so cute with that hat! The text is also from Magnolia, and I really like that song. Once I have heard it, I have it in my head all day:) I have stamped it with Archival Ink-Coffee.
Up in the corners I have use a new die, Fancy tags from Spellbinders! The fence die is from Magnolia. I have bought them both in my husbands shop "Hjerteboden":)
The gorgeous papers are from Maja Design. If you look closely to the right, behind the flowers, you can see two Gingerbreads:)) They are Quic Kutz dies.
I have also fastened a gold heart to the Fancy Tags, and added a Word Window Punch paper to it aswell. The pearls are from KaiserCrafts.
I have inked all paper edges with Distress Ink-Walnut Stain, and then sewed them. I have added Stickles-Star Dust to Tilda, and Platinum to some edges, and to the flowers.

StampARTic - Card of the year!

Marianne in StampARTic is having a challenge where we are going to find our "Card of the year" among your own cards!! This is just so difficult!
I have several favourites, but in the end I fell for this Easter card.
It is a pop-up card. And the reason I like it so much it that I loved how it turned out in the end, both on the front and inside. I used days to finish it, and this Tilda is also one of my favourite this year.
Here is a closeup of the cute Tilda from Magnolia. I have masked her together with the eggs.
Under you can see how the pop-up is done.
Thank you for visiting, and if you come back later tonight I will have another post:)
My card for the MDUC, a brand new Christmas Card.

Angel Tildas

I made two angels for Christmas decorations. I wanted to make these angels with some pupils at school, and we did! They are very easy to make. And both girls and boys loved to make them.
The papers are from Magnolia, and I have coloured the images with Distress Ink. The tutorial for the angels is in the newest Magnolia Ink Magazine (Christmas Edition), and were made by the talented Camilla H.
I have only used Stickles-Star Dust, lace, pearls and a rose for decorations.

DT Stempelglede ~ Vintage Christmas

I am so happy to have recived the new Vintage Christmas stamps by Stempelglede and Gunhild! They are just perfect for a vintage Christmas-card:) Here I have used two of the stamps on the collection, and one stamp from the Vintage Garden Collection (Carte Postale-text).
I have stamped the image on Glossy paper from Rangers, as Gunhild recommends. The result was good, and for the best result I stamped the image first some times on a ordinary paper, for then to stamp on the glossy paper. The colour got better/richer then. I used Archival Ink-Coffee.
The gorgeous key is a gift from Camilla, and it fits nostalgic-looking cards so well. To get the right look, I have coloured it with Crackle Paint-Picket Fence. I have inked all the paper-edges with Distress Ink-Walnut Stain. They are also sewed with a sewing machine.
Around the text I have added Stickles-Platinum. The cream roses are from Hjerteboden, and all the other flowers were in my DT-packet from Gunhild!! Thank you so much!
Tusen takk!
Look! There is something inside the card aswell! Yes it is a tea light card:) I have used the recipe by Marianne.
Se!
For the heart I have used a Spellbinder die for measure, and drawn the heart on the back of the paper, and then cut it out.
Here is the back of the card, where I have used my personal stamp from Scrapmagasinet. The papers are from Kaiser Crafts and TPC Studio-Ancestral-Teal Brocade.

Some more photos from the adventure to Rome!

We were not in the workshop all the time, we also had some time to visit the city of Rome!:) Here we are in the narrow streets last Friday. Here you can see Ba, my mother and Tamara (Ba's mother).
Here is the gorgeous Trevi Fountain! We also threw some money in it;) So I guess we will come back;)
My mother and I.
The lovely Barbara!
And under we stopped to get a taste of the chestnuts they sold on the street. I had never tasted it before, so it was exciting:) It tasted a bit like potato.
They looked lovely!

Everywhere we saw fountains, sculptures -big and small:) Here is one angel on a lionhead where the water comes out of.
Many of the windows in Rome were decorated for Christmas. So lovely! Here is Tamara looking in.
Here is Barbara's and Tamara's dog, Tyson. He is 13 years old, but still so so cute!:)
As I told you Lucia makes the most wonderful ceramic balls, here she is with the one she gave me.
On the other side:
Here is another one, with cool santa!
Here is Barbara with an amazing "book" that Vanessa had made.
Look at this fantastic tree-cake!!
Here is a t-shirt we had with us from Norway, Strandebarm. Jon Fosse is a writer who comes from Strandebarm. And last year he, or we:) celebrated his 50 years birthday. And then these t-shirts were made.
Here is the talented Sara that were at the workshop on Sunday. I just wanted to show you the neclace that she had made!
Cool!!:) She has drawn the picture herself on the computer!
Here we are out eating stockfish and pizza in one of Rome's fantastic pizzaplaces. The stockfish was fried, and this was a typical first course here. It tasted good. Like the "fish and chips" I have tasted before.
There were three people making pizzas at the same time, and they worked very fast. There were many pizzas made at the same time. The smell was wonderful, since I love pizza!:) And they baked them in a open fireplace. Unfortunately I was so full of the stockfish that I didn't manage to eat much pizza...
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
Have a lovely evening:)

Jul hos Anonyme Scrappere!

Juhuuu!
