Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge *Week 9* Purple & Green

The challenge has been set by Amanda who loves working with a purple and green colour combination. It is not the colours I use all the time, but now I can see that it becomes beautiful:) Just have a look at the others creations! Here is my card! You can tell I really like this Sarah Kay girl;)

Whiff of Joy: My first Willow & Oakley card!:)

The sun came perfect in my window this morning, so it was a pleasure to take photos of my card!:) Whiff of Joy are going to release some new stamps on Wednesday 3 th! Designed by Elisabeth Bell:) They are just amazing!!!

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, and the papers are from MM and MF. I got the flowers and the brads from my blogfriend Camilla. I think they fits this image perfectly:)
I got the tickets yesterday from another swedish girl, Susanne! She makes them on her computer, and gives them away! How kind is that!! Translated they say "Congratulations" and "For you".

Mappekort/Foldercard

Her er et kort jeg laget i sommer, samtidig med kortet mitt til Sukkersøtt!

Men jeg ville ikke vise det før utfordringen.

Here is a card I made this summer, at the same time as my card for Sukkersøtt!

But I wouldn't show it before the challenge.

I feel sooo honoured today!! First of all I am the guest designer for the amazing norwegian challenge blog "Sukkersøtt"(transl.: sweet as sugar)

I actually were given the power to decide this week challenge aswell!! It was great fun! The task is to make a foldercard! And in your favourite colours at the moment:) I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw the amazing work from the DT!! Just have a look! And here is also my card:

My first LO...:)

Jeg har vært litt (veldig!) spent på om jeg ville legge ut dette innlegget... For jeg har for første gang i mitt liv laget en LO... Da jeg fikk de nye stemplene til Stempelglede, syns jeg de hadde passet perfekt til Lo'er.. Men jeg har jo aldri laget det før, bare beundret mange andre:) Så dette var litt skummelt! Men jeg har iallefall gjort et forsøk.

I have been a bit anxious if I would post this post...

Because I for the first time have made a LO...

When I got the new stamps from Stempelglede, I thought they looked great for LO's.. But I have never made one myself, only admireing others:) So this was a bit scary! But I did give it a try.

Siden flere av stemplene var søsken stempel, fant jeg et gammelt (ca 2 år siden) bilde av min bror og meg:). Han er attpåklatten kan du si, for jeg er over dobbelt så gammel som han (huff)! Men han er verdens beste bror!!:)

Since many of the stamps were brother and sister-stamps, I found a photo of my brother and me (it is about 2 years ago). He is the afterthought, you can say, cause I am over twice his age (urkhh)! But he is the best brother in the world!!:)

Og jeg håper han fremdeles syns jeg er verdens beste søster;) Over ser du Single Stamp 025, 019 og 023. "Verdens beste søster" er Single Stamp 027.

And I hope he still thinks I am the best sister in the world;)

Det var kjempevanskelig å fotografere LO'en. Så syns bildene ble litt blasse, iforhold til virkeligheten.

It was really hard to photograph the LO. I think the photos looks a bit colourless, compare to real life.

The lovely paper is from Kimberly Poloson. For edgeing I used Distress Ink, walnut stain.

Love the gold mesh in the background! I think is gives a great effect!

Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge #8#

This week at Sarah Kay Weekly Challenge we have a sketch for you. Here is my card, a bit torned...

All the papers I have used are from Prima, and Cavaliere Collection. But the flowers this time are from Petaloo.

The jewelery hanging down from the "Grattis" (letters from MM) I got from my grandmother. Sarah is coloured with Distresses. She looks so peaceful bicycleing with her cute dog!

I have got several mails and questions about my old Sarah Kay images. And haven't had time to answer all. But I bought mine at Papirloftet. It is over a year ago. And I know they don't have them anymore. And some of the ones I have used, got sent to me by a friend. I don't know where to get them again. Hopefully the company will produce some more!!:) Sorry I couldn't be to any help...
